The title of this blog is "Journaling life and running experiences," and let me tell you one of the most amazing life experience I've had still affects one of the things I also love doing the most: running.  Yep, delivering a baby almost three years ago still affects my running whether it is exhaustion or simply having the time available to actually go for a run.  Interesting enough, throughout my pregnancy I had expectations  that a few months after my son was born, my running would be--if not the same, at least close to what it was before my pregnancy.  And expectations, let me tell you, they are not your friend.  A month before I found about my baby, I ran the Philadelphia Marathon. And it was thrilling! Hard but amazing.  So, here I am writing right after signing up for my first 10K --and I am using Garmin to help with my training-- after having a baby. It only took me three years.  First run of the 10K training. We all must start somewhere.

Is this thing on?

Hey everyone,  Is this thing on?  How long has it been? Easily more than 10 years after my last post.  Lately I've got an itch to write and blog again. Life changed professionally and personally. I've been now a mama to an amazing three-year-old boy. He is pretty cool and so funny. Yesterday he kept telling me to "run away." Not sure to where or from who but I think he was on to something.  In fact, I felt like running away to here. My very much public journal--one I have not written in a long time.  So, shall we do this again?   Stay tuned for more.   Aline ✊
